Description

My version of a Kirin (also known as a Chinese Unicorn) had sculpted out of polymer clay in progress. I want to add some more horns and need to fire and glaze it.

Originally, I was trying to make a dragon with a scale pattern like a baby deer but most of the features turned from fearsome dragon to adorable creature. I’ll chalk it up to a happy accident. I look forward to making more like this in different poses

I can't believe how cool the scale pattern turned out on this little critter--he definitely has that dragon/deer look that screams KIRIN to me! I am really impressed by your patience is getting all of those little scales to lay out so nicely. Very lovely progress, I'll have to keep an eye out for the finished piece!
